Course Aim
At the successful
completion of this course, participants will receive a nationally
recognised Statement of Attainment designed to reflect the skills
and knowledge required to establish and maintain both cash and accrual
accounting systems. It relates to activities undertaken when an
individual first carries out activities or services for an organisation,
as well as maintaining accounting systems on an on-going basis, all
whilst following company policies and procedures.

Entry Requirements
There
are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, literacy and
numeracy skills to a Year 10 level is required.
Computer skills with
Windows based applications is essential.
FNSBKPG402A above is a pre-requisite to FNSBKPG403A which means until
you are assessed as Competent for FNSBKPG402A, you cannot be assessed
for FNSBKPG403A.
Methods of
Delivery Available
Methods of delivery for this course include Classroom or Workplace
delivery as well as Distance Education (study from home).
Classroom
Schedule
Commencing March 2010, this course runs two days per
week during school hours (9.30 am to 2.30 pm) for 3 weeks, and from
May 2010, one day per week (9.30 am to 4.30 pm) for four weeks. We try to stick within NSW school terms wherever possible
and will not hold classes during the holidays.

Course Fees (Classroom only)
This
course costs $495 per person and includes all training materials
as well as a Student Edition of MYOB. Course fees are payable in
full upon enrolment.

Further Study
Successful completion of this Statement of Attainment will enable you to receive
Credit Transfers in the Certificate IV in Financial Services
(Bookkeeping).
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) / Credit Transfers
Recognition and / or Credit for one or more units may be granted based
on previous learning, studies, work and / or life experiences. Please
discuss this with the Enrolment Officer.
