Course Aim
At the successful
completion of this course, participants will receive a nationally
recognised qualification designed to reflect the role of contract
bookkeepers and employees performing in the role of bookkeeper for
organisations. This course will develop skills in the area of
establishing and maintaining accounting systems, assisting with BAS and
other office taxes, payroll and developing management systems for
organisations.
Entry Requirements
There
are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, literacy and
numeracy skills to a Year 10 level is required.

Methods of delivery for this course include Classroom, Workplace delivery as well
as Distance Education (study from home). Or if you are already
working in the industry as a Bookkeeper, you may qualify for our RPL
process for this qualification.

Course Fees (Classroom only)
This course runs for 1
day per week over 14 weeks (9.30 am to 2.30 pm) and costs
$2,495 per person
which includes all workbooks and training materials
as well as a Student Edition of MYOB. Upon enrolment, a deposit of
$500 is payable to cover the costs of all training materials (the
deposit includes our Enrolment Processing Fee of $150). The remaining course fees
are payable by instalments that suit your budget, so please talk to our
Enrolment Officer for a plan that suits you personally. Please see

Further Study
Successful completion of this qualification will enable you to receive
Credit Transfers in the Certificate IV in Accounting as well as the Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Accounting.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) / Credit Transfers
Recognition and / or Credit for one or more units may be granted based
on previous learning, studies, work and / or life experiences.
