Target Audience

 

This MYOB course is ideally suited to new users of MYOB.  It is designed for people who are:

• considering working within the bookkeeping / accounting profession

• already working in the industry with limited or no skills using MYOB

• starting their own business or who are current business owners

wanting to learn how to computerise their accounting procedures and learn how to set up MYOB from scratch, use the software on a day to day basis as well as produce a BAS using BASlink.

What You Will Learn in this MYOB Course

• Start, navigate and exit MYOB

• Create a new company file

• Enter account opening balances into a new company file

• Modify a chart of accounts to suit specific business needs

• Enter customer and supplier details into MYOB's card file

• Enter historical balances for customers and suppliers

• Use the purchasing features of MYOB

• Use the sales features of MYOB

• Use the inventory features of MYOB

• Making payments by cheque and credit card

• Perform a bank reconciliation

• Produce a variety of business related reports

• Understand how MYOB is used to track GST

• Use MYOB's BASlink to produce a Business Activity Statement (BAS)

Prerequisites

• Experience with Microsoft Windows

• $375 pp - 2 x Full Day (9.30 am to 4.30 pm)
