Course Overview

The OHS Construction Induction Card (White Card / Green Card) training provides an awareness and understanding of:

the rights and responsibilities under OHS law
common hazards and risks in the construction industry
basic risk management principles
the standard of behaviour expected of workers on construction sites

It is required for people:

carrying out construction work, including site managers, supervisors, surveyors, labourers and trades persons
who access operational construction zones unaccompanied or not directly supervised by an inducted person, and
whose employment causes them to routinely enter operational construction zones.

Price & Payment

The cost to do this course is $90 per person (GST is not applicable) and is payable prior to the commencement of training. You will need to complete the on-line enrolment form (located at bottom of page) in which a Tax Invoice will be generated. Enrolments can also be taken over the telephone by calling 1300 78 555 0. Payment is accepted via credit card (no later than 3 days prior to course commencement) or by Cash on the day of training.

Where Are We Located?

Vital Training Solutions is located in Quakers Hill (between Blacktown and Castle Hill) in Sydney's West within the Nirimba Education Precinct, just off Quakers Hill Parkway.

Please Note: the above Statement of Training issued on successful completion of this course is issued by Vital Training Solutions Pty Ltd on behalf of WorkCover and is valid on-site for 30 days in place of the "pocket sized" White Card which will be issued directly by WorkCover in the mail within 30 days of successfully completing this course.

Course Duration

This course has a nominal duration requirement of 6 hours (excluding breaks). Classes generally run from 8.00 am (including Registration) to 3.30 pm. Please allow for the duration to be extended if required. See the Timetable below for course dates and times.

ID Requirements

A strict requirement of this course is that you must complete an Evidence of Identity (EOI) form prior to the commencement of training.

You must present original documents to the value of 100 points to the Trainer / Assessor on the day of training. Please click on the links below for more information:

You can complete the Evidence of Identify form at home, however you must ensure that all original documents you are using to calculate your 100 points must be presented to the Trainer / Assessor on the day of training.

Please Note: if you do not meet the above Evidence of Identity requirements, you will not be allowed to participate in the training session.

Terms & Conditions of Enrolment

Completing and submitting this Enrolment Form will secure one 'tentative' place in class on the date you have selected above. If you are booking in more than one person, an on-line enrolment needs to be submitted for each individual participant.

An invoice will be generated and emailed to you for payment (invoices will be posted when an email address is not supplied).

Vital Training Solutions accepts payment by Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard), BPAY, PostBillPay, Direct Deposit or Cheque (provided there is enough time for cheque clearance prior to course commencement). We also accept cash on the day of training.

If paying by credit card, BPAY or PostBillPay, your payment must be processed at least 3 days prior to your course commencing in order for clearance to hit our account.

Cancellation from any course needs to be received in writing no later than 48 hours prior to the course commencing, in which you may choose to enroll on a different date or be refunded in full (excluding any processing fees).

If the required notice is not given, you will forfeit any fees paid to Vital Training Solutions.

Classes may be cancelled by Vital Training Solutions if insufficient numbers have not enrolled into the class. You will have the opportunity to transfer to another class, however, we will always endeavour to run all classes as scheduled.
